Supporting the IDF and Lone Soldiers

Two Israeli soliders praying at the Western Wall.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are the soldiers who fight for Israel on the ground, in the air, in naval operations, and in many other alternative ways. These men and women who serve in the military risk their lives every day for their country, protecting the Jewish people on the front lines and safeguarding national security. They do all of this and more by demonstrating loyalty, courage, and distinction. IDF soldiers come from all corners of the world to fight for the protection of Israel, and they need our thoughts, prayers, and support.

The Lone Soldiers are the soldiers who leave their homes and families to serve the Nation of Israel as volunteers. Upon arrival in Israel, they have no family to return to at the end of a long mission or a day's work, and no place to go directly. The IDF has many nonprofit organizations that provide Lone Soldiers with benefits such as free on-base housing, flights to visit family, mental health support, monthly stipends, and more to ease their transition into service for the country they love. The Lone Soldiers take on a different role in the IDF and serve as a symbol of strength to everyone.
